Short Courses
The Short Courses vary but will usually be for three or four days, either working from the model or outside concentrating on landscape using nearby attractive venues such as Trent Park, Myddelton Gardens, Kenwood. For the coming Autumn Term 2007, there will be a short course lasting four days which is being run in association with Ulster University and this will be focussed on painting/drawing/textiles. The numbers will have to be quite limited due to space in an exciting and very well-eqguipped department of Textiles.
The course will be run by Ros Morley together with Trisha Belford who is a Senior Fellow at the University in Northern Ireland. Trisha also runs short courses for the Royal College of Art, London. This is the first in a new direction of short courses. Prospective students for this course will need to have had some drawing/painting experience and this is an ideal chance for those considering going on to further or higher education in Art and Design or exploring new techniques in Textiles.
