'Painting for Pleasure' classes are friendly and relaxed – a great way for beginners or experienced artists to improve their skills and techniques, meet other like-minded people and enjoy themselves!
Develop your own style in a warm and welcoming atmosphere in a 'Painting for Pleasure' class. You will be encouraged to build up a best way of working for you, as well as become more knowledgeable and confident in using a variety of media. Every student has something unique to offer and you will find that you will get a real feeling of achievement as you sharpen up your perceptual skills, build your abilities and talents; all with help, advice and guidance from a highly experienced, practising artist/tutor.One of the most important – and exciting- things about learning to paint and draw is 'learning to see' in a new way. This will enrich your ideas about painting and open up a whole new dimension that is deeply creative and rewarding!
This is both a conscious and subconscious process that is valuable in itself. By working in this way, many students have progressed on to full or part-time degree courses in Art and Design, as well as just thoroughly enjoying their new-found talents and having an exciting new path to follow that is deeply rewarding, therapeutic and great fun.
